PGA European: Clarke out of Irish Open

Limerick, Ireland (Sports Network) - Darren Clarke withdrew from the Irish Open on Tuesday due to a lingering hamstring injury. Clarke hurt his right hamstring playing football with his sons. It forced him to withdraw after the first round of the Wachovia Championship two weeks ago on the PGA Tour and after six holes of last week's Players Championship.
