MLB: Marlins activate Hermida

Pittsburgh, PA (Sports Network) - The Florida Marlins activated outfielder Jeremy Hermida from the 15-day disabled list Monday.

Hermida has been out all season with a deep bone bruise in his right knee. The injury occurred during a spring training game on March 17, when a foul ball deflected off Hermida's right kneecap in his third at-bat against the Baltimore Orioles.
