MLB: Morris shoots for sixth win of year in middle contest with Rockies

(Sports Network) - Matt Morris takes aim at win No. 6 this evening when the San Francisco Giants continue their three-game set with the Colorado Rockies at AT&T Park.

Morris is coming off a complete-game gem in his last outing on Sunday against Oakland, as he allowed a run on two hits, while striking out nine to earn the win, improving to 5-1 on the season, while lowering his earned run average to 2.93. He has surrendered just eight runs over his last four starts, spanning 29 innings.

The 32-year-old right-hander has faced the Rockies 11 times and is 5-4 against them with a 5.46 ERA.
