MLB: Penny, Dodgers top Brewers

Los Angeles, CA (Sports Network) - Brad Penny tossed seven scoreless innings and Russell Martin tied his career high with four RBI as the Los Angeles Dodgers beat the Milwaukee Brewers, 5-1, in the rubber match of three-game series at Dodger Stadium.

Penny (6-1) scattered just six hits with a pair of walks and four strikeouts. The right-hander got back in the win column after he was tagged for a season- high eight runs and eight hits in a setback to the Angels last Friday.

Martin had a three-run double and a sacrifice fly, while Juan Pierre went 2- for-4 and scored a pair of runs for Los Angeles, which has won two straight after putting the brakes on a four-game skid.
