PGA Champions: Romero still leads Senior PGA
Kiawah Island, SC (Sports Network) - Eduardo Romero shot a two-under 70 in the second round of the Senior PGA Championship on Friday, increasing his lead to two shots as the first major of the Champions Tour season heads to the weekend.
Accustomed to playing in high winds in his native Argentina, Romero hasn't had a problem with similar conditions at Kiawah Island's Ocean Course.He played bogey-free until the 18th hole in the first round, then went one- under on both sides of Kiawah Island's Ocean Course in the second round Friday.
Romero was at six-under 138, two shots ahead of Japan's Joe Ozaki.
