The sweet smell of victory: Curlin wins Preakness by a nose

Baltimore, MD (Sports Network) - Curlin edged Kentucky Derby winner Street Sense to capture the 132nd running of the Preakness Stakes at Pimlico Race Course on Saturday.

Curlin, ridden by Robby Albarado, won the race by a nose in an unofficial time of one minute, 53 and two-fifths seconds.

Hard Spun ended third.
