WTA: Wozniak, Sequera reach Morocco final
Fes, Morocco (Sports Network) - Canadian Aleksandra Wozniak took the first set then witnessed her opponent Maria Emilia Salerni retire in the second set en route to the finals at the $145,000 Moroccan Grand Prix tennis tournament.
In the final, Wozniak, who bested the Argentin qualifier 6-3, 4-4, will face Milagros Sequera. The Venezuelan looked sluggish in the first set but responded to down Ioana Raluca Olaru 0-6, 6-2, 7-6.
This week's victor will take home $21,140.
