ATP: Knowles and Nestor capture French Open title
Paris, France (Sports Network) - Long-time doubles stalwarts Mark Knowles and Daniel Nestor rallied past Lukas Dlouhy and Pavel Vizner, 2-6, 6-3, 6-4, to win the 2007 French Open.
The sixth-seeded tandem of the Bahamian Knowles and Canadian Nestor captured their first ever title at Roland Garros. It was the seventh Grand Slam final appearance for the tandem, who've also won U.S. and Australian Open titles while finishing as the runners-up at the French Open in 2002.
The ninth-seeded Czechs Dlouhy and Vizner had an impressive run to the final, shocking the top-seeded American Bryan brothers on Tuesday.
