Golf : South Korean Lee wins rain-shortened Mizuno Open
NISHINOMIYA, Japan (AP) -- South Korea's Lee Dong-hwan earned a spot in the British Open on Sunday by winning his first title on the Japanese tour at the rain-shortened Mizuno Open.
Lee shot three straight 68s through Saturday and played five holes Sunday before the final round was canceled because of bad weather.
The 20-year-old finished with a 54-hole total of 12-under 204, four strokes ahead of six players tied for second.
Lee, a former national amateur champion in South Korea, earned a ticket to the July 19-22 British Open in Carnoustie, Scotland.
