MLB: Big Unit to miss start
Baltimore, MD (Sports Network) - Arizona Diamondbacks starting pitcher Randy Johnson will miss his scheduled start against Baltimore Saturday due to lower back pain.
Johnson is off to a 4-2 record with a 3.52 ERA in his return season to Arizona. The five-time Cy Young Award winner has fanned 70, while walking only 11 in his first nine starts. He began the season on the disabled list after undergoing back surgery in the offseason.
The Diamondbacks will replace Johnson with Edgar Gonzalez on Saturday. Brandon Webb will pitch for Arizona Sunday. The Orioles flipped their pitchers for this weekend, choosing to go with Daniel Cabrera on Saturday and Brian Burres Sunday.
