Bateman vaults 207 places in world rankings

Philadelphia, PA (Sports Network) - Brian Bateman received his first world ranking points of the season Sunday by winning the Buick Open, where he rolled in a 12-foot birdie putt at the 72nd hole to avoid a possible playoff at Warwick Hills.Bateman jumped 270 places from 408th to 138th in the latest Official World Golf Ranking.Further up, there were few changes at the top of the rankings.Tiger Woods, of course, remained the No. 1 player in the world ahead of his scheduled start at the AT&T National this week, where he will play host in his first event back since the birth of his daughter last month...Full Story
