Favre reaches 60,000 yards
Green Bay, WI (Sports Network) - Green Bay Packers quarterback Brett Favre became just the second quarterback in NFL history to throw for 60,000 yards in a career Sunday.
Favre needed 94 yards coming into the team's game against the Minnesota Vikings to reach the mark and found running back Vernand Morency for a short three-yard gain in the second quarter to reach the mark.
Favre joins Dan Marino as the only quarterbacks to throw for 60,000 yards in a career. Marino threw for 61,361 in his Hall of Fame career with the Miami Dolphins.
