ATP: Haas, Murray pull out of French Open
Paris, France (Sports Network) - Two of the world's top-11 players pulled out of the French Open on Tuesday, as German Tommy Haas and Brit Andy Murray will skip the year's second Grand Slam event due to injuries.
The 10th-ranked Haas is nursing a sore right shoulder, while the No. 11 Murray is battling a right wrist ailment.
Haas, a semifinalist at this year's Australian Open, has never advanced beyond the fourth round at Roland Garros, while Murray made a first-round exit in his first French Open appearance last year.
The 2007 French Open will commence Sunday in Paris.
