MLB: A's place Bradley on DL
Chicago, IL (Sports Network) - The Oakland Athletics placed outfielder Milton Bradley on the 15-day disabled list Wednesday with a strained left hamstring. The move is retroactive to May 15.
Bradley was hitting .275 with two home runs and six RBI in 15 games for Oakland this season. It is the second time this season that Bradley is on the DL with a hamstring injury.
To take his spot on the roster, the A's recalled infielder Donnie Murphy from Triple-A Sacramento. Murphy was batting .354 with two home runs and 11 RBI in 25 games for Sacramento.
