NBA: Hill out as Magic head coach
Orlando, FL (Sports Network) - After two seasons with the Orlando Magic, Brian Hill will reportedly not return as the team's head coach.
According to the Orlando Sentinel, Hill, who lead the Magic to a 40-42 record and the eighth-seed in the Eastern Conference playoffs this past season, will be offered a position within the organization. Orlando was swept in the first round by the Pistons.
This was Hill's second stint with the team, having guided a Magic team led by Shaquille O'Neal and Penny Hardaway to the 1995 NBA Finals. That team was swept by Hakeem Olajuwon and the Houston Rockets. Hill was fired in 1997 after a player revolt.
