MLB: Bacsik recalled by Nationals
Washington, D.C. (Sports Network) - The Washington Nationals purchased the contract of left-hander Mike Bacsik from Triple-A Columbus on Saturday.
Bacsik is scheduled to start in the team's interleague contest against the Baltimore Orioles on Saturday night. He was 1-3 with a 4.00 earned run average in nine games (five starts) for the Clippers.
He last pitched in the big leagues in 2004, and is 5-5 with a 5.88 ERA in 22 career games (15 starts) with Cleveland, the New York Mets and Texas.
