MLB: Kim, Marlins top Cubs

Chicago, IL (Sports Network) - Byung-Hyun Kim threw six scoreless innings and Reggie Abercrombie homered as the Florida Marlins downed the Chicago Cubs 5-3 in the first of a three-game set at Wrigley Field.
Kim (3-2) yielded three hits and three walks, while striking out five. Kevin Gregg got the final three outs for his fifth save in five chances, but not before the Cubs threatened to win the game.
Ryan Theriot hit an RBI single off Taylor Tankersley with nobody out, and Cliff Floyd hit a two-out, broken-bat bloop single to center off Gregg that cut the Florida lead to 5-3.
After Derrek Lee singled to put runners on first and second, Gregg struck out Aramis Ramirez to end the game.
Josh Willingham had two hits and an RBI, Miguel Cabrera had three hits, and Jason Wood had two RBI for the Marlins, who were swept by the New York Mets over the weekend.
Cliff Floyd and Aramis Ramirez had two hits apiece for the Cubs, who have dropped six of their last eight.
