Canadian PGA: Levin earns first win in Mexico

Riviera Maya, Mexico (Sports Network) - Spencer Levin closed with a seven- under 65 Sunday to win the Iberostar Riviera Maya Open.

Levin, who lost a playoff at the season-opening San Jose International Open, completed his first tour title at 21-under-par 267.

"This feels just great," Levin exclaimed. "I've been playing very well and to finally seal the deal is a wonderful feeling. It sure felt good to make that final putt."

Derek Gillespie led entering the final round, but finished second despite a closing 67. He ended one stroke back at minus-20.
