Boston, MA (Sports Network) - Friday night's game between the Boston Red Sox and Atlanta Braves at Fenway Park has been postponed due to wet grounds and inclement weather. The game has been rescheduled as part of a split doubleheader for Saturday, May 19, beginning at 7:35 p.m. The opener of the day-night doubleheader will be played at the regularly scheduled time of 1:05 p.m. The forecast calls for continued moderate to heavy rain throughout Friday afternoon and evening and the forecast for Saturday also calls for showers.
