MLB: Phillies top Toronto to win third straight series
Philadelphia, PA (Sports Network) - Adam Eaton allowed only four hits over six-plus scoreless innings, as the Philadelphia Phillies captured their third straight series with a 5-3 victory over the Toronto Blue Jays at Citizen Bank Ball Park.
Eaton (4-3), who was a big addition to the Phillies staff in the offseason, walked five batters and struck out two. Brett Myers tossed a scoreless 1 1/3 innings for his sixth save of the season.
Aaron Rowand and Pat Burrell homered for the Phillies, who have won five of their last seven games. Greg Dobbs finished 2-for-4 with an RBI, while Rod Barajas went 2-for-3 and scored twice in the win.
